Tirupati Foundation
Tirupati Foundation was incorporated around 1995 by Shri Rushikesh Ganeshbhai Patel along with close friend and associate Shri Jitendrakumar Ishvarlal Patel. It was the desire to serve the people in need and love for the environment which inspired this friends to incorporate Tirupati Foundation. This inspiration also served as the base principals for the functioning of Tirupati Foundation. Started with welfare programs for few people in need, Tirupati Foundation has now grown into a vast umbrella covering aspects such as empowering people in need in every possible manner and strengthening their ability to manage the livelihood of their entire family not just for the time being but for life long. Tirupati Foundation has also carried forward environment related activities to protect and strengthen the environment and nature mainly in North Gujarat and surrounding areas.
Various initiatives undertaken form time to time have been successfully commencing even in the present time and have proved fruitful for the purpose. Tirupati Foundation has undertaken various welfare activities which includes:
- Construction of more then 200 checkdams in and around Visnagar.
- Plantation of more then 10crore trees in various districts in North Gujarat including Visnagar (Mehsana District).
- Incorporating various sakhi mandals under one umbrella with the name ‘Mahila Gruh Udyog Sahakari Mandali Ltd.’ which works dedicatedly to enhance women empowerment in and around Visnagar.
- Helping hand to more then 900 widow women’s in and around Visnagar by providing them food kit for their entire family and also providing earning opportunities to enable their empowerment, all this under the banner of Tirupati Foundation.
- Construction of Tirupati Natural Park, Visnagar (appr. 7kms from visnagar city).
- Construction of Tirupati Rushivan Natural and Adventure Park, Derol (appr. 36kms from visnagar city).
- Empowering poor children’s by providing affordable education along with study kit and meals.
- Conducting regular Swachta drives across Visnagar.
- Conducting regular plantation drives in and around Visnagar.
- Forestation and maintenance activities in and around Visnagar.
This are few activities and programs which are been successfully carried forward even until the present time. Tirupati Foundation now intends to expand its reach to serve more people in need along with serving the purpose of protecting and enriching environment and nature in a much wider area.
