Dr. Shyam Prasad

Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee

Born on 6th July 1901 to mother Jogmaya Debi, in a famous family, his father Sir Ashutosh was widely known in Bengal. Graduated from Calcutta University he became a fellow of the Senate in 1923. He enrolled as an advocate in Calcutta High Court in 1924 after his father’s death. Subsequently he left for England in 1926 to study in Lincoln’s Inn and became a barrister in 1927. At the age of 33, he became the world’s youngest Vice-Chancellor of the Calcutta University and held the office till 1938. He was the founder and first president of ‘Bhartiya Jan Sangh’, which was formed 21st October 1951 at Raghomal Girls High School, Delhi. Dr.Syama Prasad Mookerjee was martyred for the cause of integrating Kashmir with the rest of India. He was detained for 45 days for violating Article 370, which required Indians to seek a permit to enter Kashmir. His death in prison shook the country and the Permit System was ended. A slogan of the Period was “Nahi Chalengey ek desh mein do Vidhan, do pradhan our do nissan”. He died as detenu on June 23, 1953.

Born on December 25, 1924, in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh to Shri Krishna Bihari Vajpayee and Smt. Krishna Devi, Shri Vajpayee brings with him a long parliamentary experience spanning over four decades. He has been a Member of Parliament since 1957. Shri Vajpayee was the Prime Minister of India from May 16-31, 1996, and then again from March 19, 1998 to May 13, 2004. Shri Vajpayee participated in the freedom struggle and went to jail in 1942. He was detained during Emergency in 1975-77. Founder-member of the erstwhile Jana Sangh (1951) and President Bharatiya Jana Sangh (1968-1973), his historic decisions are still remembered and marked as historic achievements to make INDIA a great nation. He was fond of Indian music and dance. A great patriot, great poet, gifted orator and above all a great leader breathed his last on 16 August 2018.

Born on 17th September 1950 in Vadnagar, Gujarat, Shri Narendra Damodardas Modi was born to Smt. Hiraben Modi and Shri Damodardas Mulchand Modi. He joined RSS at the age of 8yrs. He grew up helping his father at his tea stall at the Vadnagar railway station, after school hours. He was appointed as the Chief Minister of Gujarat for the first time in 2001 and has been in the office as CM until 22nd May 2014. He assumed office as the 14th Prime Minister of INDIA on 26th May 2014 and has been their since then. Demonetisation, introduction of GST, abolition of article 370, etc. are few historic decisions of his government and many of the welfare schemes like ujwala yojana, jan-dhan yojna, etc. have benefited crores of people in need. Infrastructure projects and other development projects add to another feather in the achievement of his government. His leadership enabled to strengthened INDIA’s position on various global dais as a nation. He continues to drive INDIA towards being an developed and a potential world leader along with being a strong and great nation.

Born on 22nd October 1964 in Mumbai, Maharashtra Shri Amit Shah was born to Smt. Kusumben and Shri Anilchandra Shah, an affluent Gujarati family. He lived and studied in his paternal village Maansa, Gujarat. He was especially inspired and influenced by the nationalist spirit and vision of Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) and became its active member in Ahmedabad. After serving at various positions in ABVP, BJYM and BJP, he became Cabinet Minister for Home, etc. in Gov. of Gujarat in 2002 and then National President of BJP from 2014 until 2020. He then went on to become an MP (Rajyasabha) in 2017. After which he became Union Home Minister on 1st June 2019. He then became an Member of Loksabha on 17th June 2019 and since then he continues to serve as MP (Loksabha) and Union Minister of Home and Cooperation. His vision and guidance still empowers BJP as party to lead in various states and the great nation of INDIA.

Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel

Born on 15 July 1962 to a Gujarati in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel has been associated with RSS since his early age. He has been a builder by profession and has also served as Chairman, Standing Committee, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and also as Chaiman, Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) during his tenure of public service. He has also been associated with various religious organisations such as Sardardham Vishwa Patidar Kendra, Vishwa Umiya Foundation, etc. and has been a dedicated follower of Akram Vignan Movement founded by Dada Bhagwan. A sports lover by heart, he was elected as an MLA for the first time in 2017 from Ghatlodia Constituency in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He won with a record margin of appr. 1.9 lac votes for the second time in 2022. He went on to become Chief Minister of Gujarat State in 2021 and was re-elected as a CM in 2022. He now is leading the State Government from the front and taken Gujarat on a progressive path. He is loved for his down-to-earth and simple lifestyle.

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda

Born on 2nd December, 1960 in a Brahmin family to Dr. Narain Lall Nadda and Shrimati Krishna Nadda, Shri JP Nadda studied in Patna and Himachal Pradesh at various levels. He entered politics in the year 1975 when he joined the then ongoing Sampurna Kranti movement started by Jaya prakash Narayan during the black days of emergency. In 1987, he had to face a 45-day detention for organising an anti-government campaign against the ruling Congress Party by forming a Rashtriya Sangharsh Morcha. In 1991, he was made National President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha at the young age of 31 years. He contested and won 3 times for the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly and has also been a cabinet minister in HP. He also shouldered the responsibilities of BJP National General Secretary and Member Secretary of BJP Parliamentary Board. He held the position of Union Health minister in the first Modi government. Was appointed as a National Working President of Bhartiya Janata Party in 2019 and then elected as a BJP National President in 2020. Since then he continues to lead the party from front and has achieved success for the party in various elections held during his tenure.

Born in Pimpry karaut village near Jalgaon in Maharashtra in the family of Raghunath and Sarubai Patil on March 16, 1955. Shri Chandrakant Raghunath Patil (C R Patil) began his career as a Police Constable in 1975, he resigned from the job within merely 14 years, due to his nature of helping others. He fought for the interests of Police Constables and for that he made attempts to unite Police Constables under one roof of a Union, and then he was forced to resign from the job in 1984. Shri C R Patil began a Gujarati Daily named ‘Navgujarat Times’ in 1991, but before he enters into Journalism, he was handed over the responsibilities in his Party. He held various positions in party and PSU’s in Gujarat. He went to become Member of Parliament (MP) – Loksabha in 2009 and since then he has been representing his constituency from the state of Gujarat. He has a member of various parliamentary committees from time to time and has served at various positions in party and other public organisations. He became Gujarat State head of BJP in July 2020 and has been leading the party in Gujarat state from the front and achieved success for the party in various elections across the state of Gujarat.
